Hi, my name is Raquel. I am a children's book author, and my titles are distributed and published through Rkh Publishing with Rkh Books imprint, a company I founded in 2023. The A to Z Kids is a joyful alphabet series that features a unique story centered around a child's learning of a specific letter and their favorite hobby or interest. My author visits are designed to keep kids excited about the joy of reading. My goal isn't only to share my stories, but to spark kid's imaginations and prove to them that they have creative power within them. For me, the true success of my visits isn't measured in book sales, but in the smiles, curiosity, and creative sparks left after my visits with the children.

I am thrilled to offer no-cost presentation visits for local schools or organizations to inspire the next generation of young readers and future writers.

🧳How My Visits Work🧳

👩🏫The Presentation: Every author visit features an engaging storybook time, complimentary activity sheets, quick Q & A time, and a few exciting spinning-wheel prizes to encourage kids to actively listen and stay engaged during story time. 

📚 Book Orders Are 100% Optional: While my presentation time is completely free, I do require schools to distribute my digital or physical informational flyer/book order forms to students’ families at least two weeks before the event. Purchasing books or storytime extras is entirely optional. However, my flyers offer discount codes, and custom-signed keepsakes created solely for my author visits that cannot be found online.

🛍️ Order Delivery: I personally deliver orders on the day of my visit. To make the scheduled event seamless for staff, there is no order or cash handling required. Instead, any family wishing to pre-order items can do so with flyers I provide that have my website's QR code. All I ask is for staff to send the information home with students/families at least two weeks prior to my visit.

📑 Free Activity Sheets: A to Z Kids themed coloring/handwriting sheets provided to the children.

❓ Book Q&A: A quick session that gets students cheering for reading!

🎡 Spinning Prize Wheel: Fun wheel-spinning opportunities for students (all can spin to win based on group size & current prize inventory) demonstrating active participation, or even can be selected by the teacher (Students of the Week).

💝 Signed & Dedicated Keepsake Books: Parents and staff members who order ahead will receive their personalized, signed copies and storybook extras on the very day of my visit.

🏫 Local School Visits: Sessions are completely complimentary for schools within a 15-mile radius of Grand Prairie, TX.

🗺️ Outside the Area: If your school is located further away, please reach out to discuss a mutual arrangement.

📅 Days: Sessions can be scheduled Monday through Thursday, subject to calendar availability.

❄️ Winter Weather Policy: For safety during winter months, visits will be rescheduled in the event of hazardous road or winter weather conditions.
